Hardscape

Stone, paver & structure.

From driveways to flowerbed walls — every joint hand-set, every base engineered for Ontario freeze-thaw cycles.

On site, in Bolton

Built below grade. Hand-laid above it.

The job site is the studio. Same crew that drew the plan compacts the base, checks the level, and sets the final joint.

Construction procedures

Built right, from the ground up.

Hardscape that survives twenty Ontario winters starts below grade. Every project moves through the same six checkpoints — no shortcuts.

  1. Clean Digging

Excavate, square the corners, remove organics. A clean cavity is the start of every clean install.

  2. 1 ft Depth Excavation

Full 12-inch dig on driveways. Engineered base only works if there's room for it.

  3. High-Performance Bedding

Compacted ¾-clear stone in lifts, geotextile fabric where soil mechanics demand it.

  4. Precision Layout

String lines, laser-level checks, dry-laid pattern verification before any joint is set.

  5. Cutting & Adjusting

Wet-saw cuts at edges and obstructions, hand-fitted closures. No grinder mess on a Green Rhino site.

  6. Grouting & Finishing

Polymeric joint sand, edge restraints, final compaction. The yard you see is the yard that lasts.
